Service

The heart of our calling at Messiah is a ministry of care and compassion for others in our own congregation, in our city, our nation and our world. Our primary service projects focus on eliminating hunger in our local communities and inner broader world. We challenge our members to discover and use their gifts through the outreach ministries of the congregation, or in volunteer work in the larger community. We seek to nurture warm hearts, not only in our adult members but also in our children.

Sunnyside

Sunnyside Ministry, an agency of the Moravian Church in America Southern Province, expresses the love of Christ by providing short-term emergency assistance for life’s basic needs to families who find themselves in crisis situations. Messiah Moravian members provide food donations during each week’s worship service to support Sunnyside ministry. We are proud to support and nurture those in need in our own community.
